All the details below!
New Photo-related features
A couple of nice features added for users taking photos as part of merchandising or other activity forms.
- Make sure users are taking real time photos in the app on location. You can disable the "Choose existing" photo option - leaving the "Camera" option only.
- Image information is now available. The geolocation, date & time, and device type for each image is automatically captured.
A photo in a merchandising form showing the camera option only available because “Choose existing” option was blocked by the admin:
Geolocation capture enhancement
When capturing the geolocation of the user's device at any point in the order (or activity) process - at the beginning, middle or end - a radius of accuracy is now also captured. Allowing you to know within what radius the latitude and longitude coordinates were captured.
Capturing geolocation is one of the actions in the new Workflows which you can add at any point in a Transaction, Activity, or Account creation. You can view the captured location and accuracy in the Activity Lists and export to an Excel report. For details on adding this action see: Workflow Designer
Sort Flat Matrix Lines View
For those of you who are selling “matrix” items, or styles with multiple variants (typically color/size), in response to your requests, we have enhanced one of the views of the matrix items to allow you to sort by any one of the fields of the items.
Configure the “Flat Matrix Lines View”, optimal for phones and phablets because it allows for scrolling through nicely formatted lines with the variant information. The view shows one line per color/size (or other variant) combination for the style.
It can be configured to be sorted by any one of the fields displaying in the line, such as: Item code, Inventory, Price, Unit Qty, Color, Size, or any other field you configured in this layout. Sort in ascending or descending order.
To configure the Flat Matrix Lines View see: Order Center Configuration
