You can display graphs and charts with any data about your customers from your accounting or ERP system on the Account Dashboard.
Present your reps with historical data and analytics that will motivate them to sell more and be more knowledgeable in front of the customer, such as:
- Commission report per category/per customer
- Sales per Brand (in currency or units) per quarter/year/month
- Target vs Actual sales per Brand
Pepperi allows you to add your own data to the Account Dashboard and create charts from any ERP/CRM/ BI or other accounting system data.
Import XML data and format in charts using XSLT and display it in multiple tabs across the upper and lower Account Dashboard.
Each tab on the Account Dashboard is called a Widget. The "Sales" and the "Top Items" widgets are the most familiar, since they are provided out of the box and appear on the Account Dashboard by default.
Any Widgets you add will appear as additional tabs in those areas.
In this example, you can see additional tabs with Widgets, such as "Targets" and "Information". Each Widget has a title, totals, and combo boxes that allow you to select different subsets of the data (such as by quarters, seasons, or years).
This article will explain how to load the XML data and the XSLT formats required for the widgets. You'll need to load the data you wish to display per Account (customer) in XML format.
This may require some technical knowledge (XML, XSLT) and our service department will be happy to build additional templates of charts tailored to your needs.
A chart contains the following components: Combo boxes, Bars Area, Total Fields, and Totals. The sample formats provided by Pepperi include various options as far as the number of combo boxes and bars. The format you need depends on the data you are presenting.
- Show sales by brand over the past 4 quarters with 1 combo box on a bar chart. The combo box would be used to switch between quarters, and the bar shows the value per month across the horizontal axis.
- Show sales by regions over the past 4 quarters with 2 combo boxes on a bar chart. The combo boxes are used to switch between regions and quarters.
- **templates to be provided shortly** Show target vs. actual sales by brand over the past 4 quarters with 1 combo box and 2 bars. The combo boxes are used to switch between quarters, and the 2 bars show the target and actual value per month across the horizontal axis.
Use the sample files as a template to enter your own data and labels into. Follow the instructions below to load and configure the Widgets on the Account Dashboard.
XML sample: Type1_1_1.xml
XSLT sample: Type1_1_1.xslt
This XML sample file - Type1_1_1.xml - results in a bar chart with a combo box as shown here.
The corresponding XSLT file - Type1_1_1.xslt - should be loaded as is following the instructions in the next section.
The structure of the file is explained below:
After preparing your XML data load it to Pepperi as follows:
To load the XML data for the Widgets go to Settings -> ERP Integration -> File Upload and Logs -> Click Upload
Select Accounts - custom from the data pull down menu options.
Browse to the XML file containing all the data required for the additional charts and graphs.
Go to Settings -> Configuration Files -> Configuration Files
Click Add new file
File Type: select "Dashboard Widget file".
Widget Name: Widget name must be identical to the chart Type listed in the file, in following example Type1_1_1.
Description: for your reference only
Browse the XSLT file containing the formatting instructions for the XML data loaded and click Save.
Go to Settings -> Accounts -> Account Dashboard Layout
Go to the Dashboards tab and drag the widgets to the desired area - Upper or Lower. Edit the title of the Widget to the text you wish to appear on the tab in the Account Dashboard.
They will now appear on Pepperi app in the Account Dashboard.
