Data customization enables you to view existing Item fields and add custom fields.
The fields can then be used for display in the various Catalog views, on the Order Cart and/or the Order PDF (see the end of this article for links on how to include these fields in the views and cart).
The fields can also be imported and exported as part of automatic ERP integration with Pepperi (if you have configured this).
To edit an existing field, click on the edit icon (pencil) and modify the field label.
The Label is the title of the field that will appear on any screen on which the field is displayed.
The API Name is the name used when importing and exporting this field in the automatic ERP Integration of your data.
To add a custom field:
Click on Add Custom Field. Select the field type - Single Line Text, Limited Line Text, Date, Number, etc. . .
Enter the required information for each field type.
For example: If you select "Drop Down" - enter the menu options in the choices box, type a value and press Enter then type the next value and Enter and so forth.
Press Save.
Once you have created the custom field, position it in the Order Center views, Order Header, Cart, PDF, or any other relevant form.
