Prepacks (also called assortments in some industries) allow you to pre-define size quantities per color of a style. Prepacks are relevant if your items have variants of size/color (or other types of variations). You must have mapped the 2 Pepperi fields for "Dimension 1" and "Dimension 2". If you do not map both of these fields, the Prepacks tab will not appear in your Web admin configuration.
For example:
- Prepackaged box for T-shirts - 10 Size M, 5 Size S, 3 Size L, 2 Size XL
- Prepackaged box for shoes - 1 Size 10, 1 Size 9, 2 size 8, 2 size 7.5
Prepacks can be setup for use with Pepperi for Sales Reps as well as Storefront buyers.
Please note that Prepacks are not yet supported in the New Order Center.
Click on the Prepacks tab in the Items section of the Setup.
Click the "+" sign.
Give the Prepack a descriptive name.
If you are using size scales, then select the relevant size scale, otherwise select "Default Scale".
Size scales are used when matrix items have different types of sizes (ie clothing, shoes, etc.) in order to prevent all size types from being displayed together in the matrix item view. For details on size scales see: How to Use Size Scales for matrix items
Since Prepacks are defined per size scale, only the Prepack defined for the size scale will appear for the items in that scale.
Give the Prepack a description.
Enter quantities of each size for the Prepack.
Click Save.
Create as many Prepacks as you need.
The Prepacks you created will appear in Pepperi in the matrix view for items that come in these sizes.
For Pepperi Storefront for Buyers they will appear in a pull down menu below the matrix.
Select a row by tapping on the color, open the menu and select a Prepack.
Subsequent taps on the Prepack menu will increment the quantities by multiples of the prepack.
For example a prepack with quantities of [6 S, 24 M, 24 L] will increase to [12 S, 48 M, 48 L] and then [18 S, 72 M, 72 L] and so forth. . .
