If you want to use different prices for your items depending on the Account you are selling to, this is what we call Price Levels or Price Lists.
(If you have already enabled Price Lists want to disable them and use the same price for all Accounts follow the instructions below at the end of #1)
1) Firstly you must upload the various prices along with your items. When you upload items make sure to upload multiple price lists for each item along with all the other properties you upload.
|Item Code||Price List 1||Price List 2||Price List 3||Price List 4|
In your Accounts Excel file, when uploading your Accounts (customers/clients) you must assign each Account to a price list. Do this by adding a column that contains that name of the price list exactly as it appears in the Items file heading.
|Account Code||Account Name||Address||AgentID||Price List Code|
|12345||Store1||- - -||805||Price List 3|
|54321||Store2||- - -||805||Price List 4|
|98765||Store3||- - -||806||Price List 3|
Next, go to the Settings -> Pricing Policy -> Pricing Policy
Select "Price Level" in the "Calculate price based on:" menu.
(other selections in this window are not relevant to price lists).
IF YOU WANT TO STOP USING YOUR PRICE LEVELS AND GO BACK TO USING JUST ONE PRICE FOR ALL ACCOUNTS: select Retail Price from this pull down menu and the use of Price Lists will be disabled.
2) Next, go to Settings -> Pricing Policy -> Price Level in order to set the currencies for your price lists.
Select a price list and click on the edit (pencil) icon:
Each of the price lists you uploaded with your items will be listed here.
You may edit the currency. Click Save.
Next, go to Settings -> Items and make sure to drag "Price Level" property to the right side of the Sales Rep form (Buyer form too if you are using Pepperi Storefront), so that this is the price that will be displayed in the various views (and not Retail Price).
Make sure to do this for all views: Thumbnails, Gridline , and Flat Grid view.
For more details on customizing the various catalog views see: Customize Catalog Views
Now the sales rep will be able to Edit/Create Accounts and select a price list for them from the list you gave the sales rep access to.
From now on Pepperi will use the price list price you uploaded for the item for the Account for calculation.
You can preview this as an Admin on a browser, without logging into the Pepperi App.
Go to the Catalog and select different Accounts from the pull down menu, and watch the prices displayed change according to the price lists for those accounts.
