Tasks allow communication amongst your team within Pepperi. Tasks can be created by managers, reps, or any Pepperi profile. They can also be assigned to other members of the team. They are integrated to the user's personal mail and reminders on their mobile device.
To create a task from the Pepperi Web Admin go to Tools -> Tasks
All tasks are presented to you in a list.
The list can be filtered by Task Status and/or by Assigned user.
To create a task click Add +
Fill in the Subject (Mandatory) with the information to be presented to the Assigned user.
Assign the Account to the Task. Type the ERP code of the Account into the field and select the Account that comes up.
Enter a Start date (optional)
Enter a Due date (optional)
Select Reminder and select a date and time for the reminder to be sent to the Assigned user.
Assign the task to any Pepperi User. Begin typing in the user's name and a menu will show available names, select the user.
Select a status Not started, In progress, Completed. (optional)
Select a Priority Low, Normal, High (optional)
Write a Note with details about the task (optional). Notes are time date stamped and saved in chronological order.
Select Contact person to associate the task with. The Contact person list consists of any contacts loaded for the Account. If none were loaded, none will appear. (optional)
Once the Task is saved, the user to whom it was assigned will receive a message to the Pepperi App on the app home screen as well as on the notifications tab in the relevant Account's dashboard.
If the device on which Pepperi is being used is integrated to Mail - the user will receive an email (from Pepperi support) with all the Task information that was filled in.
If the device on which Pepperi is being used is integrated to Outlook Tasks, the user will receive a new Task to Outlook.
When the status of the Task is changed to Completed, the Creator of the Task will receive an email with the new Status.
To create a task from Pepperi App:
First make sure the Task activity is displayed on the Account Dashboard for the user's profile. For instructions on how to do this see: Account Dashboard Layout.
Go to the Account for which you want to create the Task for.
Press on the Task Activity Icon
Fill in the same fields in the Task form as listed above for Creating a new Task from the Admin.
The Task activity will be submitted and will appear on the Task List in the Web Admin Tasks list.
The Assigned user will receive an email and a message to Pepperi App with the Task information.
