Route and Acitivity Planning allows scheduling of activities on the sales rep's calendar via an easy and intuitive graphical or map view.

Activity Planning is available for both the Web Admin as well as the Sales Rep in the Pepperi app on their tablet.
Activity Planning is accessed by the Sales Tools -> Activity Planning on the web interface. (Activity Planning is part of the Pepperi Ultimate Plan, if you do not have this plan and require Activity Planning please contact your Pepperi representative).
First, select the sales rep you want to schedule an activity for.
[If you are using the User Hierarchy feature within Pepperi, you will be able to select from all the reps that are below your position in the hierarchy.]
Then, select the activity type you want to schedule for this rep from the pull down list.
(The activities available for scheduling are determined by the admin. See Activity Planning Setup for instructions on how to enable an activity for scheduling).
The Accounts assigned to the sales rep will appear on the map view.
Now you need to select the Account to schedule the Activity for.
You can click on any of the pins to see more Account information in a small pop-up box:
If the rep has many accounts you can filter which ones appear on the map in the Accounts Smart Filter tab.
Click on the filter icon view and select the values of each property you want to filter by. The properties available to filter by are customizable. For details see: How to customize Smart Search for Accounts
You can also view and schedule activities for the Accounts in a grid view by clicking on the .
The columns and headings in this table view of Accounts can be customized. For details on how to do this see: Activity Planning Setup. Drag and drop Accounts from the grid view to the calendar view just as you would the map pins.
Once you located the Account you want to schedule an Activity for, drag its pin to the time slot on the calendar view that you wish to schedule the activity for.
The Activity will appear on the calendar view, but is not yet published to the sales rep.
Click on the activity to enter the planned start and end times or any other fields that you wish to send to the rep in the scheduled activity.
There may be some mandatory fields indicated by a red star, make sure to fill those out.

The Activity has been scheduled, and will appear as a light gray box on the calendar view.
The Activity is now ready to be published.
Click on the Publish button. This publishes all the Activities on the reps' calanders.
The Activity will be sent to the Sales Rep. After it is synchronized to the tablet it will also be synchronized to email/smartphone if they are configured on the local devices.
On Pepperi for Sales Teams app on the tablet the Sales Rep can open, execute and modify the planned activity as well as schedule their own activities.
