Pepperi Web Admin Version 8.4 release contains important new features and enhancements.
The highlights of this release which we are very excited to release to you are Profile Management and ePayment. Read on for all the details and links to How-To articles.
Assign different functionality, workflows and forms to groups of users. For example, a Sales profile for taking orders, a Merchandiser profile that only performs stocktaking and visit reports, and a back-office office user that only takes inbound phone calls. This functionality gives the admin the option to control the data and the functionality exposed to each individual user.
Profiles are available on the Pepperi Ultimate Plan. If you are not on the Ultimate Plan please contact us for more information on obtaining this feature.
Create a Profile, associate it with users and configure views and forms for the profile.
Create a Profile:
Go to Settings -> Users - > Profiles
Click + Profile
Give the Profile a descriptive name.
Select the profile that it is based on.
The “Rep” Profile is the default Profile present in the system. All Profiles created are based on the Rep Profile unless you select otherwise.
In the case that form and view configurations are not found for a specific profile, then they will be taken from the profile it is based on.
The Profile will appear in the list:
Associate users with the profile:
Go to Settings -> Users -> Manage Users
Edit a user and select a Profile for that user. The user will now see all the views, forms, activities, dashboards and more that have been configured for that profile.
Indicate if the user should be an Admin or not using the check box.
Admins have permission to make configuration changes and view/edit all information in the Pepperi Web Admin interface.
Next, configure Views and Forms for the Profile:
You may configure any one of the forms and views for a particular Profile.
Go to the configuration screen for the form or view you wish to configure for a Profile.
Click on the menu in the configuration screen and select “Add new Profile”
Select the profile you want to configure a specific form for and click OK.
A form will be added with that Profile’s name. Edit the form as you would any Pepperi configuration form.
For example, if you would like the Sales Rep profile users to be allowed to edit order prices on the shopping cart, but not merchandizers, then add a configuration form for the Merchendizer Profile and select “read only” for the unit price field for that profile, while leaving it unselected on the Sales Rep form.

In our continued focus on functionality that helps our customers transform their business to support omni-channel sales and maximize the efficiency of each sales transaction we are very excited to release integration with ePayment gateways.
Your customers will now be able to pay for their orders on the spot. PayPal and eWay (Australia) are currently supported in this version.
Include payment in your Transaction workflow, trigger actions when an order is in “Paid” status and track payment statuses.
ePayment is available on the Pepperi Corporate Plan. If you are not on the Corporate Plan please contact us for more information on obtaining this feature.
For details on configuring ePayment see this article: ePayment in Pepperi
You can now view the chronology of all statuses assigned to a Transaction or Activity since its creation using the Status History option in the Activities List.
Select any Transaction or Activity in the list and go to Action -> Status History.
You will see a list with very useful information about the previous statuses of the Transaction/Activity.
For each status you will see the information of the user who changed the status and the client that the user made this change from (iPad, Android, Web Admin, etc.).
We have improved the interface used to configure the Transaction Views and Forms.
All the configurations are now centralized in one convenient tab – Views and Forms – for each Transaction type.
The Header, Cart, Footer, Summary and Menu tabs in the Transaction configuration now appear under a single tab. Open each section to edit the forms contained inside.
For details on each of the tabs and forms see these articles:
We are already working on our upcoming release for phablets, and there are 2 Cart forms already available for phablets only: Cart Lines View and Cart Transaction Details.
The Workflows interface has been made more user friendly, the various actions that can be set by Transaction status changes are now located in a pull down menu from the word “Add”.
