Announcing one of the most exciting versions of Pepperi. Pepperi for iOS V4.60 has been released and is available for download from the App Store.
New features include support for iPhones. It’s simply a must to read on and learn about all the significant new features!

Pepperi for iPhone has an elegant and highly configurable order center view configuration. You can configure every aspect of the order center catalog view, from fields shown to image size. You can show information specific to a Sales Order, a Return or other Transaction Types because the configuration is per Transaction Type.
Currently this view is supported on Pepperi for iPhone, however the next step is providing this configuration for Pepperi for iPad.
The new order center view configuration is currently available for testing in Pepperi for iPad. If you would like to try it out, we’ll be happy to hear your feedback. Just ask your Pepperi representative to enable it in your Pepperi account.
On iPhone you can search the catalog for items by scanning their bar code using the iPhone camera. No apps or special scanner needed.
Tap on the camera icon in the catalog, it will open and automatically scan the bar code on the item and find it in the catalog.
This will also be supported on iPad in the near future.
The rule engine provides greater flexibility to define different business rules across all sales channels, and change them as needed without programming.
You can now define advanced formulas for pricing, tax, order volume and any other in-order calculations, modify totals, apply discounts, as well as validation rules to ensure the order submitted fits your business policies and workflow.
A few examples – though the sky is truly the limit:
- Validate workflow rules. For ex: enforce minimum amount per order
- Add shipping and handling charges
- Provide pricing incentives for customers to re-order by themselves (vs. via a sales rep).
- Calculate Sales Rep Commissions
- Calculate discounts by Account type, or item prices by quantities ordered
Pepperi supports online e-payments using Pay-Pal, eWay and Authorize.net gateways. During 2016, we’ll expand support to additional payment gateways, giving our customers the flexibility to choose the gateway that fits their needs. We view this as critical functionality to fully support self-service B2B sales.
Accordingly, Transactions now have additional statuses such as: Paid, In Payment, Needs Payment.
Payment can also be set as mandatory.

Configuring duplicate orders is an enhancement allowing you to configure exactly which field values will be copied to the duplicated order.
When duplicating an order, you may not always want all fields copied to the duplicate. For example, discounts given in one order that should not be copied to the duplicated order. Order remarks and delivery dates may or may not be relevant for the duplicated order.
There are two configuration options in the Transaction ‘Action’ settings:
- Duplicate Transaction for Current Account - when duplicating an existing transaction for the same customer.
- Duplicate Transaction for Different Account - when duplicating an existing transaction for a different customer.

The newly designed Pepperi Accounts View allows for a cleaner and more elegant display of your customers in the "All Accounts" view in the app. You may now control the size of the Account listings so that you may fit even more Accounts in the view, showing only the information necessary.
Configure as many fields as you need to appear in the listing, and only those fields will appear (in previous versions the listing included a larger card view which you could not minimize by reducing the number of fields).
NEW: Drill down to Account detailed information or Plan a New Activity for an Account by tapping the 3-dot menu.

Assign different functionality, workflows and forms to groups of users.
For example, a Sales profile for taking orders, a Merchandiser profile that only performs stocktaking and visit reports, and a back-office office user that only takes inbound phone calls. This functionality gives the admin the option to control the data and the functionality exposed to each individual user.
There is a known issue in this release relevant only to those customers who are using Sales Reps monthly targets and are sharing transactions between sales rep users assigned to the same accounts ("Share" setting in the Transaction Type enabled).
In this case, the total monthly actual sales shown in the sales reps' Sales Dashboard will show their actual sales plus the actual sales of any other sales reps assigned to their accounts.
This issue will be fixed promptly and you will be notified as soon as an update is released.
