What are Pepperi's plans for GDPR compliance
Pepperi will fully comply with GDPR. As Data Processor, we will provide our customers the ability to search for their customers’ data in their Pepperi account and to delete personal data from the Pepperi Backend. This ability will be added to our Backoffice interface.
How do Pepperi plan to address requests for deletion of personal data?
It is our customers responsibility to act upon any delete requests they will receive from end users. In case requests for deletion will be received directly to Pepperi (bypassing the data owner) they will be processed by us and a notification will be sent to the account admin.
What happens to historical data (cloud backups)?
Data deletion requests/actions performed through Pepperi UI will be deleted from the running backend system. As for backup sets, we will roll forward the deletion tasks in case we restore them to the running backend.
What milestones/dates have you coming up between now and May 25th for compliance with GDPR?
End of March – customer communication and information about ongoing changes in Pepperi for GDPR compliance, it will include a description of changes we will perform in Pepperi, clarification of responsibilities for data deletion/purging and a release date for upcoming changes.
Mid May – Pepperi version release with required changes.
