Main New Features
Contact Fields and Forms with Workflows (Supported on V5.2 Mobile App)
Contacts are now stand-alone entities, with their own configurable custom fields, forms, and workflows – just like Items and Accounts.
Contact configuration is done in the new Studio Grid style. Last version we brought you centralized contact lists (GDPR compliance), and now you can add custom fields and configure the Contacts form to suit your needs.
All your existing contacts will be preserved in the new format. Contact data is accessible via the API (see Developer Center for details).
Edit the Contact Form to include the fields required. Including any custom fields, you may have added.
Brand new Contact Workflows allow you to define actions to take place between Contact statuses. For example when a contact is first created send an email to notify someone, or export it to the ERP. Workflow Actions details here: Workflow Designer
Price Level New Studio Grid Configuration
Price Lists are listed and configured in the new Studio Grid style. Add Price Lists, Special Price Lists and even Price List Items through the convenient graphical UI. You may edit in bulk by importing and exporting through the menu options. Import will automatically open the correct data import format.
Variant Dimensions New Studio Grid Configuration
Easily Add Colors/Sizes and size Groups (scales) using the new Studio Grid configuration interface.
Go to Items -> Variant Dimensions to Edit/Delete colors, add color images and add sizes.
The old color/size configuration (Items -> Manage Items Color/Size Setup) will remain active for a while longer. Both the old and new configurations are valid.
You may export color and size files to modify and then upload in bulk.
For example, this makes sorting sizes super convenient. Export the Dimension 2 file, edit the sort index for each scale, and import.
For details see: Variant Dimensions
User Defined Tables New Studio Grid Configuration
Add and Edit User Defined Tables in the new Studio Grid configuration. Create/Edit tables:
Add/edit keys and values directly from the UI:
Also, bulk edit by exporting and importing tables directly from the UI.
Line and Map Views available for Activity Lists (supported on V5.2 mobile apps)
Activity reports with a map view allow you to see the Activities as pins on a map, with the location of the device at Creation and Submission of the Activity.
Create lists that visualize where store visits were created by your Merchandisers, where orders were Submitted by Sales Reps, where Vans dropped off inventory.
Additional features
Order Center Default View per Profile
The default view for the Order Center is now configurable by profile.
Under the Order Center Views Menu configuration, configure the default view to be opened for the Order Center, whenever opening an order (new or in creation).
This view will be opened when entering the Order Center no matter what view the user switched to when they last entered - unless you select "Last View" , which will open the last view the user was in.
Add Activity List as widget on Account Dashboard (supported in V5.2 mobile apps)
Account Activity Lists can now be added as tabs on the Account Dashboard area.
You can even configure the lower area as empty, and then the lists you position in the upper area will be displayed along the entire page (shown below).
Add as many Activity Lists as you wish to the Account Dashboard Upper/Lower configuration.
Tradeshow mode Account Scope with connection time limit
Give users temporary access to Accounts for a limited time. If you have enabled Tradeshow mode - online customer search for a user (enabled for users who need temporary access to additional Accounts), you can define if all Accounts will automatically be downloaded to their device (may be costly timewise when syncing) or if only the Account the user specifically searched online for will be downloaded. You can also define for how many days those Accounts will remain available on the user’s device.
Variant View in Order Center is back and fully configurable (supported on V5.2 mobile apps)
Order color variants of an item with the quantities of each displayed, in one convenient view.
Technical notes
Support for Asynchronous Webhook Response
We now support asynchronous communication between Pepperi integration platform and the client when running a Webhook. This allows the Workflow to wait for a response from the Webhook more efficiently, rather than constantly checking for a response.
New Workflows Action: re-calculate a field
An order can go through approvals and changes before it is finally submitted, and calculated fields such as discounts, shipping, or commissions may need to be re-calculated before final submission. You can now re-calculate the formula for a custom field at any point in the Workflow to ensure valid values for any calculated custom fields.
Add the Calculate Field action in the Workflow to the relevant transition. Select the custom field you wish to recalculate.
The Web app for Reps now displays all branches/locations of Accounts
Users connecting to Pepperi via a browser on the Web app will be able to place orders and activities for branches/locations of an Account.
Sort and filter by the parent item only in Filters for Matrix Items (supported on V5.2 mobile apps)
You can now create filters that include Style code criteria, rather than variants of the style. You data may contain the filter criteria for Styles only and not variants. New filters allow you to filter by Style fields.
Matrix View column configuration and Minimum Width setting (supported on V5.2 mobile apps)
You can now configure the fields displayed in the matrix view for each variant (other than color/size), as well as indicate a minimum width for the size columns.
Edit the Matrix View in the Order Center Views for the Transaction Type:
If you have many sizes for a style, the size columns will be displayed so that the sizes can be read. The minimum width setting ensures that the display will look good, allowing scrolling to the right to see all sizes.
For example: add fields like color image, price, or a custom field to the matrix view:
Checkbox TSA checked/unchecked text options
We have enhanced the options for a Checkbox custom field (Boolean).
You may define the text displayed when the box is checked VS when it is not checked by the user.
To define, just enter the text (including emoji) for each case:
