Features
Default view option when configuring Order Center Views Menu
When opening the order center, the default view seen is the last view used by the user.
You can now change it and define a specific view which will be used every time the order center is opened.
This is useful when you want to always open the order center in barcode view, for example, even if the last time you were in the Order Center you changed views.
Under the Order Center Views Menu configuration, configure the default view to be opened for the Order Center, including Lines view (new). You can also select "Last View" which will just go back to the last view the user chose (this is sometimes the most convenient option, if you don't need to force a certain view upon entering the order).
Note that due to this added capability, the default view for the Order Center is now configurable by profile, since the configuration is done in the Order Center Views Menu which is by profile as well.
This view will be opened when entering the Order Center no matter what view the user switched to when they last entered.
Variant View in Order Center is back and fully configurable
Order color variants of an item in one convenient filmstrip view. You may now configure the information that appears for each variant card. The unit quantity ordered for each color appears on the card.
The configuration of the variants view is based on three configurations:
- Variants Portrait View – this is the main view showing the selected variant details.
- Variant Card View – this is the view of the cards seen in the variant main view.
- Variant Cards Special data control, in the variants main view - when this control is placed on the form, it will be filled with the variants cards.
Matrix View column configuration and Minimum Width setting
Configure the fields displayed in the Matrix view for each variant as well as indicate a minimum width for the 'size' columns.
For example: add fields like color image, Item name, price, or a custom field to the matrix view:
If you have many sizes for a style, the minimum width setting ensures that the display will look good, allowing scrolling to the right to see all sizes.
Checkbox custom field with checked/unchecked text options
We have enhanced the appearance of the Checkbox custom field (Boolean).
You may define the text displayed when the box is checked VS when it is not checked by the user. Any text can be used including emoji icons.
To define, just enter the text (or select an emoji by clicking on the smiley icon) for each case:
Note that when using emoji, they will appear natively per each device's graphic standard for that emoji, thus might appear differently than seen in the field configuration.
Format Notification messages
You can now format Notification messages on the Pepperi app (iOS right now, Android coming in next version). Use HTML tags in the Notification action text for bold, colors and other formatting.
Will show:
Images saved as JPGs
To save space on the device, images will now be compressed and saved as JPG.
Top Level Filters
Top Level Filters enable customers currently using Wishlists in the Old Order Center to move to the New Order Center more easily. The new Filters used to create the Wishlists require custom fields, not supported in the current Filters, thereby requiring new filter types that are not supported in the old Order Center. The Top Level filter option, allows you to be able to use these new Filter types in the old Order Center by putting them in the top menu. They are not connected to any Main Category/Brand.
Once you move to the new Order Center you’ll be able to continue using these new filters in the Top Level view. The feature is currently available on iOS and will be released to Android and the Web Storefront in the next version.
New UI in Activity List (iOS only)
The Activity List selection and date range is via a menu selection. The header row with all the Activity List icons has been removed, making the UI cleaner and more intuitive.
The Date Filter is now in the selection menu as well.
Old Activity List header area:
New header area:
Note: if you are still using the old Reminder or Task Activities, they are not supported in this new interface. You will see an additional button to access Activity Lists containing Tasks and Reminders.
Order Center Header Improvement (iOS only)
The Header area was removed from the New Order Center, allowing more space for the catalog.
Search, sort, barcode scan, and the views menu all appear on a thinner bar across the top of the Order Center. There is no functionality deprecation, all functionality remains as is.
