We have improved the user experience with the new sync procedure. Users can get right back to work after submitting an order or any activity. All data will be sent to the server, and any actions required on the server side, such as sending an email notification or webhook, will be processed asynchronously, leaving the user free to continue working without worrying about the sync.
A new "red" sync indicator appears when there are still local changes on the device that have not been sent to the server, indicating that a sync is required.
You can now use HTML to improve the look and feel of the Order Center and bring more of your branding to Pepperi’s catalog on mobile devices.
HTML formatted fields are now supported both on the mobile and web apps. For details and examples see: Format Item info fields using HTML
When sharing an item from the Order Center, all default sharing options available on iOS, including WhatsApp, are now available.
Tap on the Item info (3 dots) and tap share and select the app you wish to use to share the item. You can configure the fields that are sent in the share message. See Configure Item Share info
When editing numeric fields on the iPhone app, the number pad will appear.
Accessible from the home screen of the app -> Settings gear -> Support Tools
Delete Local Data & Storage and Sync - Users may now clear all their app data from their device (item images and other files) and resync the data from the server. This action may be required by support if there is an issue using the app.
This is equivalent to uninstalling the Pepperi app, and then reinstalling it.
Delete Local Data and Sync (without Storage) deletes only unsynchronized data in the app and synchronizes your data from the server (and not all the data files such as images and other data files).
