It would be great to be able to distribute to multiple activities out of a parent Workflow Activity.
Both, multiple distributed activities out of one step and out of multiple steps.
Each month reps have to go to different account types, executing 4-10 different activities as retail audits, promotions, questionnaires (each linked to different product groups).
The challenge is that these 4-10 activities don't have to be done on each account, rather they can be grouped to account types where same activities have to be executed. Filter logic is in 3-4- attributes of accounts.
It can be assumed that 3-5 parent Workflow Activities serve monthly needs. These would distribute to monthly active product groups related in store activities, create them ready to be completed in batch.
Side (massive) Benefit
By doing it that way the product related activities don't have be changed, as they are often reused 1/2 year or year, monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly. This means up to 20-30 standing activities don't linger on account dashboard menu and activity planning. No need to copy those activities as now they have to be combined in larger single activities each month differently. Coherent data reporting for each product line over time.
Another approach or also a great bonus feature would be filtering activity on account dashboards, activity menu and toolbar, and show only activities which match selected account properties. Also great for reps who prefer to do route planning by magic and simply walk into the store and start account dashboard.
