It has been brought to my attention that the road map for being able to edit more than just the quantity after selecting an item is not something that is being considered as a priority.
I would ask that it be a consideration.
Salesmen need to be able to easily edit just the quantity on the fly. Pricing is one such thing, as well as comments they make on items.
To have them go to a different screen to do those very basic things is not making their jobs easier, rather SLOWER.
Pressing a menu button, then EDIT are 2 extra button presses, which over time is not efficient.
It would be much easier if they selected the item, then could easily edit whatever field we created for them. All it has to do is skip 1 screen which can only do +/- or edit quantity.
It's not so hard to imagine their being able to do more than just that from the same screen
