Trade Promotions latest updates
Following the successful adoption of our new Trade Promotions module by many of our customers, we received requests to further enhance its capabilities and we were happy to oblige.
So, here are some cool and useful updates you must know about trade promotions in Pepperi. You'll find details and examples for each below.
-
Buy 50 Get a 10% discount AND a free display unit - this kind of promotion was previously not possible because you couldn't give more than one incentive for the "Buy 50" tier. Now you can give multiple incentives for the same promotion tier.
-
Buy $200 worth of cosmetics, and select up to $25 of makeup sponges or brushes for free! - We've now added the capability to get a currency amount worth of free items, previously it was limited to a free/discounted item only.
-
We've made "Get the cheapest item(s) free" a built in feature - in most Buy X get Y, this is the standard limitation and it's now an out of the box option.
-
With dozens or hundreds of promotions running in parallel, finding the ones that apply to a specific item or category can be a tiring task. We've updated the editor with a new filter so you can quickly find the promotion you're looking for.
-
Each manager/user creating promotions can now focus on their own promotions. You can now define that each user will only see the promotions they created.
More details and examples below:

Get Cheapest Item(s) Free
"BUY X get Y free" promotions are usually limited to the cheapest item free. We've made this a built in feature.
For a "Buy 3 Get 1 free" promotion, to get the cheapest of the 4 selected items free, just indicate "Use cheapest item" in the additional item details.
You can also get the cheapest at a discount (%), or even get the X cheapest items (indicated by the Quantity). Read more

Editor Updates
Permissions The new editor permissions setting makes it possible for each manager/user creating promotions to focus on their brands. You can define that each user will see only the promotions they created. Filters In your long list of dozens or hundreds of promotions, finding the ones that a specific item or category participates in can be a tiring task. The new Filter allows you to quickly find which promotions apply to an Item by filtering by the properties the promotion is based on. |
