Sync Scheduler (Beta)  allows you to ensure that Pepperi mobile app users have the most up to date data on their mobile devices.

Users may not always remember to perform manual synchronization to receive critical updates from the Pepperi cloud, such as inventory values, pricing, status of orders, and more.

This add-on enables you to schedule and manage automatic synchronization of users’ mobile devices from the back office.

The Pepepri app must be open on the device for the scheduled sync to take place. If the app is closed, the scheduled sync will start upon opening the app.

Sync Scheduler Add-on is currently part of the Beta program. Stay tuned for the general availability announcement.

Examples:

Schedule a sync for first thing in the morning for your reps to start their day.

Schedule a sync every 4 hours, to make sure your reps have the latest inventory values

Remember:

Sync fetches the delta between local data on the device and the server.

Resync deletes all data on the local device and fetches all data from the server (excluding images and attachments).

Go to Settings -> Company Profile -> Sync Settings

Synchronization is triggered based on the following criteria:

Max sync time interval – set a maximum time for a sync interval (in hours). If the device has not synced in this many hours, a sync will automatically occur.

Start of Day – Set the time of day for the device to sync. If the device has not yet synced by this time, a sync will automatically occur.

Max resync time interval – Set a maximum time for resync interval (in days). If the device has not resynced in this many days, a sync will automatically occur.

Future resync – Set a specific date and time for the device to resync. If the device has not yet synced by this date/time, a sync will automatically occur.
