To upload styles with variants (usually used for Dimension 1 - color and/or Dimension 2 - size) you will need to structure the Excel/CSV file used to upload your items to Pepperi accordingly.

The items uploaded in this format will be displayed in a matrix view in the catalog, allowing the sales rep to indicate a quantity for each variant.

There are additional settings available especially for matrix items described in this article.

The Excel file for items is comprised of 2 types of item rows.

1)      Non-matrix item – this is an  item that has a unique item code and has no variants

2)      Variant - this is an item that also has a unique item code but is associated with a style. All variants of a style appear in the matrix view that is opened when ordering the style.

Variant Row

All variants of a specific style are associated with a "Style code".

The rows representing the variants indicate their detailed information such as a unique item code, color, size, price (can differ among variants), inventory, and any other property available in the Pepperi fields.

Example of the variant rows:

In case the item has only one variant, for example: color only, simply leave the size column empty.

Additional Configurations available for Matrix Items:

1)      Change the Dimension Names in Settings -> Company Profile

2)      Add a color image or modify the color description in Items -> Manage Items in the 'Color setup' tab. The color image you select here will be displayed in the matrix view of the item in the catalog.

3)      Modify the Size description in Items -> Manage Items in the 'Size setup' tab.

4)      Upload a color specific image of each variant to be displayed in the matrix view. For details: How To Upload Multiple Images and images for Color Variants of Matrix Items

Here is an example of a file with two styles M001500 and M001700 with color/size variants and color only variants as well as some styles with no variant at all (in which case the variant fields are simply left empty):
