Every file you attempt to upload to Pepperi, will be recorded in a Log file.
The log is accessed via Settings -> ERP Integration -> File Upload and Logs
The table will display all attempts to upload any file types to the system (CSV, XML, Excel files).
You can download the Error log for each file upload attempt.
The number of Failed lines indicates how many lines had a problem and could not be uploaded.
The reason for failure will be indicated in the last column of the error log file.
Pepperi generates log files every time you upload a data file manually or via the automatic ERP integration.
Go to Settings -> ERP Interation -> File Upload and Logs
Via the Action menu you can export:
- Just the error lines in the file
- The whole error log
- The original file that was attempting to load
You can filter the list of logs by files containing failed lines, or files that failed to load all together.
ERP integration files, or CSV files for objects loaded via the ERP integration (such as Special Price Lists, Order history, contacts) have a new interface for loading.
Click Upload and a menu will appear where you can select the object you wish to load.
For more information about the objects you can upload via this interface see: FTP Upload Data
For example:
A common error when uploading Accounts: using a country code other than the official ISO 2-letter code.
The Error is indicated in the last column for each line that failed. For more info on this error see: Country code incorrect in Accounts file
