Error
On certain events, Quickbooks may trigger a Windows error, requesting inserting a disk into a drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR1 (numbers may be different).
Pepperi for Quickbooks executables that may stumble on this error, are either QBexporter.exe or QBimporter.exe.
The error is caused by old drives that were not ejected properly from Windows (old drives being flash, zip etc.)
This error is not related to Pepperi, it is a communication error between Quickbooks and Windows, and requires some Windows maintenance to solve.
Solution
The solution for this problem is to remove the unused disk letters from the Windows management console.
Performing this should be done by the IT personnel of your company, or whoever is managing your network
Note you will not see these unused disk drives under 'My Computer'.
Right click on 'Computer' and select manage.
From the disk management section, find the old disk drives that occupy a letter, but are not visible in your regular disk drive display (by clicking 'Computer' from the Start menu).
Right click the old volumes, and select 'Change drive letters and paths'. From the the screen that opens up, press 'Remove' to remove the drive letter associated to this now unused drive.
Be sure not to remove any drive letters which are currently used, mainly the one holding the operating system! (i.e. never remove C:\)
If you are unsure about this process please consult the person managing your computer system
