This article will explain in detail:
- How to connect Pepperi to your Xero online accounting company

- How to place an order and view the Xero invoice within the Pepperi app
Start Connecting Xero to Pepperi
To connect just go to Pepperi's Xero integration page and click on "Free Trial with Your Xero Data"
NOTE: If you first log in to your Xero account on your browser, and then browse to Pepperi's Xero integration page on another tab and click to start your free trial, your Xero account will be automatically identified and you won't have to fill in the Xero credentials and authorization screens shown below.
Fill in the information required - Name, Company, Phone, Email etc..
You will be brought to the Xero login screen. Enter the credentials you created in the previous screen.
Login with your Xero credentials, and on the next screen select the company that Pepperi will have permission to access and click on Authorize.
You data will now be uploaded from Xero to Pepperi
When the process is completed you will be directed to the Pepperi Web Admin where you will see the data loaded from Xero in your Pepperi catalog.
1. Log in to the Pepperi App to see all the data:
First log in and synchronize the Pepperi app on your tablet so you can see how the data looks in the app.
Use the username and password you created in the trial process.
If your tablet is online it will automatically synchronize all the data that was loaded.
Now, create a Sales Order and Submit it.
After submission, the system will await a response from your Xero online accounting system that confirms the successful creation of the order within Xero.
Tap on the link "View/Edit in browser" to be presented with the order in your Xero system within Pepperi:
What should you do after your Xero data is loaded to Pepperi?
1. Upload Images for your items
2. Upload your own logo and branding
3. Assign properties to items for smart grouping/searching
4. Create filters in your catalog
5. Customize the PDF format of the order
After you have added images and customized all of the above synchronize your tablet again to view everything you have done.

2. Upload your own logo and branding
Upload your company logo and wallpaper screens for Pepperi.
The logo will be displayed on the PDF format of the order as well as in the Web Admin interface.

3. Assign properties to items for smart grouping/searching
Assigning properties to your items allows you to group and search by those properties. For example properties such as: country of manufacturing, stone type, metal type, season, collection, type, etc. .
To assign items properties, you will need to:
- Export the items file from Pepperi
- Add columns with some properties describing your items
- Import the updated items file
For detailed instructions on exporting and importing item files and adding properties see: Importing items to Pepperi
To update the values of the properties for the items export/import the file again with the updated values as often as you like.
4. Create filters in your catalog
Your items are grouped by a main category or brand, however you can create secondary categories for items based on properties, inventory, price, and more criteria.
Filters can then be selected by sales reps on the app for quick access to groups of products.

5. Customize the PDF format of the order
Orders can be emailed to any destination in PDF format. You can customize the format of the PDF header and order table to display the information you require.
