The following describes Pepperi's device, storage space, software, and cellular data plan recommendations for Pepperi users.
Pepperi supports devices with the properties listed below. To ensure optimal user experience while taking into account your specific needs, it is recommended to consult with Pepperi before you purchase your devices. The amount of data and the level of functionality used can heavily impact the recommended device.

Local Storage Space
Pepperi usage of storage space can be divided in to 3 components:
- Pepperi app storage ~ 100MB
- User's synced local data – ~50-150MB, varies by usage
- Images (product images and in app images)
For standard users of Pepperi, storage space for local DB and images is usually below 2GB of local storage. Therefore, assuming other applications are being used and some free space should be reserved for software upgrades, Pepperi recommends a minimum of 16GB local storage.
By default, Pepperi compresses images into a standard size of 760X760 pixels which allows 300-600KB files for each image. The table below provides a few simple examples of storage space calculation for images:

- Image size is configurable from the Pepperi Web Admin
- In-app images (using mobile camera) are automatically compressed to 500KB files.
- The above file sizes are estimates and can vary according to the variety of colors and the image's DPI.
- Up to 6 images can be stored for each product in Pepperi.
For customers with a large amount of high-quality images, we recommend increasing local storage to 64-128GB. The Pepperi team will be available for advanced storage analysis if needed.
Cellular Data Plans (3G/4G/5G/LTE)
Pepperi recommends doing the first synchronization of data and images based on a Wi-Fi connection. Thereby daily syncs, based on 3G/4G/5G connection, are usually lean. In this case 2G packages per month should be sufficient.
In case major data updates are frequently expected, we recommend expanding the cellular package to at least 5GB monthly.
