This guide will explain the simple process of placing an order in your distributor's catalog using the Pepperi Mobile Storefront app on an iPad or Android tablet.
Placing an Order on the Pepperi Mobile Storefront
Open the app and log in with the credentials provided by your distributor.
You should have received an email with login credentials.
You will be presented with the Pepperi app Home screen where you will have access buttons to the app which your distributor has presented for you.
You will also have an orange shortcut button on the home screen.
If you have an internet connection the app will automatically synchronize the latest information to the tablet.
Synchronize the tablet by tapping on the synchronization icon (arrows) when you need to update the item and other information from the distributor, or send transactions and activities to the distributor. Once you synchronize you will have the most updated data from the distributor in the app and all of your activity will be sent to the distributor.
You may still create orders and activities when you do not have an internet connection. They will be automatically synchronized once your internet connection is active.
Tap on the button or shortcut that allows you to create a new order.
You will be brought to the catalog.
Select a main category and/or a filter from the catalog to browse the items you wish to see.
You may have the option of a “Smart Search” which allows you to further filter the items.
Pull down the small arrow under the filters to see the “Smart Search” options.
Select the values you wish to see from each property in the “Smart Search”.
The results will be displayed.
You may also search for an item by its item code or name in the search box.
To view detailed information about an item, tap on the “i” to see a full page of information and properties.
You can switch between the different catalog views by tapping on the views button.
Small – 12 items per page
Medium – 6 items per page
Large – 1 item per page
Filmstrip – if there are multiple images loaded for an item, view them in a filmstrip and tap to enlarge
Variant – if you are ordering items that vary in one dimension (for example by color), view the variants in a filmstrip.
Gridline – table view with columns and rows.
When you have finished adding the quantities of items you wish to order, tap on the shopping cart.
The shopping cart shows you a summary of all the items you ordered.
To add more items you can tap on back and continue adding items from the catalog.
To return to the cart, tap on the shopping cart again.
To sign the order, tap on the signature icon and sign by sliding your finger on the tablet screen.
To add notes tap in the notes box and type your note on the keyboard.
To enter additional order information – tap on “More” and enter the information in the appropriate fields in the Order Details form, when you are finished tap “Done”.
To submit the order, tap “Submit”.
If you do not have an internet connection (no Wifi or 3/4G) the order will be submitted automatically once your tablet is online.
To view your previous orders, tap on “My Orders” or the corresponding button that has been set up for you. Your orders will be listed in chronological order. You will see the general order info and its status. Tap on an order to see its full detail.
You can modify the date range in the table to see orders from a specified date range.
Locate the order you wish to duplicate in your order history. Tap on it and tap on the menu and select “Duplicate”. The order will be duplicated, and you may continue ordering or edit the cart and then submit it.
