When users begin a Transaction (Order) or any Activity form, you can check if they have already started one and direct them to it. This will help avoid unfinished orders or activities from being saved as drafts in the system.
This is useful for buyers placing self service orders on the Storefront. Your buyers aren't always aware that they can browse their order history, including orders in progress that they have not yet submitted. Using the Validate History action will allow buyers who started an order, got distracted and didn't complete it, to automatically be directed to the order again.
There are two options in this action.
1. Present the user with a message allowing them to choose if they want to continue the order they started, or start a new one anyway.
2. Force the most recent open activity to open whenever the user tries to create a new one, without notifying and giving a choice.
The "open activity" is defined by the Pepperi statuses you select when configuring the action (In Creation / In Progress / Waiting for Approval etc..).
Ticking "Force the user to be directed to the most recent open activity" will not display a message and automatically redirect the user to the most recent open activity.
