Mobile users must turn on Push notifications in the settings of their mobile device for Pepperi in order to receive notifications.
You can view a list of devices currently connected to Pepperi that have enabled push notifications in the back office under the Device Settings section.
To send Push notifications:
Go to Settings -> Push Notifications -> Messages
Send new message
Select recipients from the User list, enter Subject and Body
Select recipients from the User list
Click Send
The push notification will immediately be sent to the users' devices.
To view a list of devices connected to Pepperi go to Push Notifications -> Device Settings
The device list will show all users that are currently connected to Pepperi on mobile devices that have enabled Push notifications for the Pepperi app on their device.
If a user's device is not on the list, make sure they enabled push notifications.
Push Notifications via Transaction or Activity Type Workflows
To configure Push Notifications, add the "Push Notification" action in the desired point in your Transaction or Activity Workflow, and indicate the list of users the Notification should be sent to.
Notifications pop up only when the Pepperi app is closed.
If you do not want to receive notifications to the device, disable Push notification permissions for Pepperi on your mobile device.
To configure Notifications: go to Settings -> Transaction Types
Edit the Transaction you wish to add the Push Notification to. Add a Workflow Post Action "Push Notification" as follows:
Add a title and message, and a semi-colon separated list of usernames. You may use a custom field (TSA) in the list of users.
You may use fields in curly brackets in the Message - for example {AccountName}
Ticking "Send to the user who performed the Activity" will send the notification to this user in addition to the Users list.
NOTE: to modify the Push notification action after it has been saved you must delete it and create a new one. Changes made to an existing Push notification action are not saved.
