Send your own customized text in Push notifications, alerting a user at any point in the Order or Activity Workflow - just like any other app that pops up notifications on your phone or tablet, such as WhatsApp or Facebook.
The notification will appear on any device that the user is logged in to the Pepperi app on, even if the app is closed. If they are logged in on both iPhone and iPad, the notifications will appear in both.
Please note that notifications can currently be sent to Pepperi mobile users only, and not Storefront buyers.
To configure Push Notifications, add the "Push Notification" action in the desired point in your Transaction or Activity Workflow, and indicate the list of users the Notification should be sent to.
Notifications pop up only when the Pepperi app is closed.
If you do not want to receive notifications to the device, turn it off by going into the app settings from the homescreen -> Configuration and turning off "Receive Notifications".
To configure Notifications: go to Settings -> Transaction Types
Edit the Transaction you wish to add the Push Notification to. Add a Workflow Post Action "Push Notification" as follows:
Add a title and message, and a semi-colon separated list of usernames. You may use a custom field (TSA) in the list of users.
You may use fields in curly brackets in the Message - for example {AccountName}
Ticking "Send to the user who performed the Activity" will send the notification to this user in addition to the Users list.
