Once the admin has installed the Item and Order Trade Promotions Add-ons, and completed the additional installation instructions detailed here, users can begin configuring Item and Order promotions in the editor.

Item Trade Promotions Installation Guide
Open the relevant editor using the shortcut button on your homescreen (or the link provided to you by the admin).
If you are an admin user, you can access it from the Settings section in the Webapp.
In this guide we will configure several example promotions that will help you understand how to use the editor. Configuration of the following examples will be explained below:
1. Item Trade Promotions by Quantity
Tier 1: Purchase 10 or more and get 10% discount for items of a specific Main Category for medium Sized Accounts
Tier 2: Purchase 20 or more and get 15% discount for items of a specific Main Category for medium Sized Accounts
2. Order Trade Promotions by Price
a. All B2B eCommerce Orders over $500 get 10% Discount
b. Order total is over $1000 get 5% Discount for Accounts paying in cash that usually pay credit
c. Order total is over $100 get additional user selected items for free (for all Accounts)
1. Item Trade Promotions by Quantity
Example 1a. Two-tier promotion:
Tier 1: Purchase 10 or more and get 10% discount for items of a specific Main Category for medium Sized Accounts
Tier 2: Purchase 20 or more and get 15% discount for items of a specific Main Category for medium Sized Accounts
To define an Item Promotion you will first define the Promotion details, and then select the items, or other properties which it applies to, from a list.
In the Item Promotions Editor click Add to fill in the Promotion Details as described below:
Fill in the following:
Description: give an accurate and easy to understand description of the Promotion. Bear in mind that this description is displayed to other users or buyers.
Type: Select the type of promotion. Types were pre-defined by the Admin. Types include the properties used to determine to which items the promotion applies. For example if the promotion applies to Main Category Nail Polish and Account Size, then select the type "By Account Size and Item Main Category". (If you don't see the type you require, ask your admin to create it). In the next step you will select values for the Account Size and Main Category.
Validity:
Enabled between dates - enter Valid from and Valid to dates (if no dates are entered the promotion will always be valid)
Disabled - disables the promotion
By: determines which property will be used for the tiers count. Common usage is Units Quantity and Total Price.
Quantity - the promotion will apply based on the item unit quantity ordered. Typically used for Item Trade Promotions. If selected, then fill in the value for Quantity in the Promotion Tiers below.
Price - the promotion will apply based on the amount of money purchased. Typically used for Order Trade Promotions, when the promotion is based on the order total amount. If selected then fill in the value for Price in the Promotion tiers below.
Priority: Determines the order in which multiple promotions that may apply to these items are applied
Apply multiple promotions:
Yes, continue to the next promotion - will apply multiple promotions in the order of their priority
No - if there are more promotions that apply to the items or order, will not apply them
Promotion tiers
Quantity: Fill in the tiers of quantity or price by adding as many tiers as required.
Since we selected Quantity for the "By" option in this example, fill in the Quantities of the tiers.
Get:
Price - used to indicate a price per item when more than a certain quantity is ordered. For example: Order 10 or more and pay $3 per item.
Discount % - used to indicate a discount % when more than a certain quantity is ordered. For example: Order 10 or more and get 10% discount.
Discount Price - used to indicate a discount price when more than a certain quantity is ordered. For example: Order 10 or more and get $1 off the regular price.
In the example above 2 discount % tiers are needed (you may add as many tiers as you need):
Quantity: 10 -> Get: discount % -> Value: 10
Quantity: 20 -> Get: discount % -> Value: 15
Click Save. The promotion will be added.
Click on the Values button to select the Main Category and Accounts this promotion applies to.
For this example we will select Account size = Medium and Item Main Category = Nail Polish
(note: Account size is a custom field on Accounts)
Click Add + and select values for the Promotion Type properties. In this example, "Medium" for Account Size and "Nail Polish" for Main Category.
You are done! The promotion takes effect immediately after sync for Medium size Accounts and Nail Polish Main Category for the validity dates you indicated. Pricing will automatically be adjusted in the shopping cart based on item quantities entered in the order.
Example 1b. Purchase 10 or more and get 20% discount for items of a specific Main Category for large Sized Accounts
The promotion is configured in the same as the example above (Example 1a), however the value of "Large" will be selected for the Account Size property.
The Promotion Details will be configured similarly to Example 1a:
The Items button will be configured as follows:
Example 1c. Purchase 50 get 5% discount for 3 specific items for all Accounts ordering on B2B eCommerce site only.
In this example you will choose a different Promotion Type, because the promotion applies to specific Items and a specific Transaction Type used by buyers on the B2B eCommerce site only.
The Promotion Details will be:
Type: By Item ID and Transaction Type
By: Quantity
Quantity: 50
Get: Discount %
Value: 5
Most importantly, make sure to select the Type "By Item ID and Transaction Type". In the next step we'll select B2B eCommerce Order for the Transaction Type, and the 3 face creams A, B and C that the promotion applies to.
Save the Promotion Details and then click on the Items button to define Transaction Type and Item ID.
Click on Select by Item ID, and tick off the items in the Items List that should participate in the promotion.
Select the B2B eCommerce Order Transaction Type (or the equivalent name of the transaction that buyers use in your organization - you may need to consult with your Pepperi Admin).
You are done! The promotion will be in effect for the validity dates you indicated. The discount will be automatically added in the shopping cart based on item quantities entered in the order.
Example 1d. Purchase 10 or more of 2 specific items and get Item XYZ Skin Cream for free (or for a discounted price). This promotion will apply to all Accounts.
For this promotion select the Promotion type based on Item ID only.
Promotion Details:
Type: By Item ID
By: Quantity
Quantity: 10 (means 10 or more)
Get: Additional Item
Value: select the additional free item Skin Cream XYZ from the item list
To select the additional free item click Edit.
Select either the same item or another item. For this example we'll select "Select another item".
Click Select by item ID, and select the Skin Crean (XYZ) item from the Items list.
Discount: The % discount on the item given. Enter 100 for the item discount so that the item will be added to the order for free.
Quantity: The quantity of the item given at the discount %. 1 for this example, or another quantity that you choose.
Click Save.
Next, after saving the Promotion Details, click on the Items button to define which Items the promotion applies to.
Click Select by Item ID to select the 2 items this promotion applies to from the Items List - in this example Items SE50 and SE140.
Example 1e. Multiple incentives for the same quantity tier
Multiple incentives are supported for the same quantity. For example:
Quantity: Select 2 items
Incentive 1: Pay $10
Incentive 2: Get 1 free display unit
In the Promotion Details simply enter the same quantity for both incentives:
2. Order Trade Promotions by Price
The Order Trade Promotions Editor is almost identical to the Item Trade Promotions Editor, with one small difference that will be explained below - Order Trade Promotions allow the user to select additional items for free or discounted from a predefined list based on the Order Total amount.
Open the relevant editor using the shortcut button on your homescreen (or the link provided to you by the admin).
If you are an admin user, you can access it from the Settings section in the Webapp.
a. All B2B eCommerce orders over $500 get 10% Discount
Click Add +
Promotion Details:
Description: B2B eCommerce orders over $500 get 10% Discount
Type: By Transaction type and Total amount (or as named by your Admin)
Validity: enter dates (no dates means always valid)
By: Price (refers to Order Total amount)
Promotion Tiers:
Price: 500 (this means above 500)
Get: Discount %
Value: 10
You can add as many tiers as you wish, for example, for orders above 1000, add another discount or additional item and so forth. .
Click Save.
Click on the Items button and select the B2B Transaction Type and Order Total value of 500

b. Order total is over $1000 get 5% Discount for Accounts paying in cash that usually pay credit
The Type definition should already be defined in the Order Promotion Types Editor by the fields:
Account custom field (TSA): DefaultPaymentMethod
Transaction custom field (TSA): PaymentMethodSelectedinOrder
NOTE: you must already have created these custom fields for Accounts and for the Transaction Type the Order Promotions was installed on. You also must already have values in the data for each of these fields (either load it via csv files, or place some test orders with these values).
Promotion Details:
Description: Accounts with Payment method credit, current method Cash, and Total over $1000 get 5% discount
Type: By Account default Payment method + Payment method selected in this Order
Validity: enter dates (no dates means always valid)
By: Price (refers to Order Total amount)
Promotion Tiers:
Price: 1000
Get: Discount %
Value: 5
You may of course add as many tiers as you wish, for example:
Price 2000 -> Get Discount % -> Value 10
Price 5000 -> Get Discount % -> Value 30
etc...
Click on the Values button for this promotion:
Select:
Accounts default Payment method = Credit
Payment method selected in this Order = Cash
c. Order total is over $100 get additional user selected items for free (for all Accounts)
Add an Order Promotion as follows:
Description: Order total is over $100 get additional user selected items for free (for all Accounts)
Type: By Transaction Type (later I will select which Transaction Types it's relevant for - ie Sales Order, B2B, etc.)
By: Price
Promotion Tiers
Price: 100
Get: Additional user selected items. Click on the value to define the list of user selected items.
The following screen will allow you to define which items should be listed for the user to select from:
Message displayed: This message will be displayed in a small pop up window to the user, informing him how many items to select (if the user selects too few or too many they will be notified in a pop up how many items to add/remove). If no text is entered then no pop up will be displayed.
Quantity rule:
Equal - the number of items selected must equal the quantity indicated
Up to - the number of items selected can be up to the quantity indicated
Get:
Discount - indicate the % discount for the items selected (100 % indicates the items are free)
Price - indicate the total price of all the items selected
Available and Excluded Items Rules
Next you will define which items should be available for selection by the user.
Available items rules
Property - indicate the field to filter items by. This could be any item field such as Main Category, a custom field such as TSAProductType, TSASubGroup, or it could be the Item Code to indicate specific individual items.
Default quantity - the quantity that should be entered by default for the items (typically it's 1)
Value - select the value of the field
Excluded items rules
Indicate the properties and values for items that should be excluded from the items available to the user. For example: if ProductType value "Shampoo" was selected for the available items, and you want to exclude specific shampoo items from being displayed by their Item Code, you may enter them in the excluded items list.
