We all know that Zapier is one of the easiest ways out there for integrating your apps and triggering workflows. Now you can also integrate Pepperi and Zapier!
Zapier basically acts as a central hub, receiving events from Pepperi and then triggering actions in any of your other apps (click here to view a list of all apps supported by Zapier).
-
Send a promo text message directly to a B2B eCommerce customer using your cloud-based SMS service when a new form is filled out in Pepperi.
-
Book a new event in your scheduling app when a form is filled out in Pepperi.
-
Create a new Mailchimp subscriber when a form is filled out in Pepperi.
-
Post a message to your tele-sales team’s collaboration app when an order is submitted in Pepperi
-
And anything else you need or can think of. . .
The integration works by using Webhooks to communicate between Pepperi and Zapier. This guide explains how to use Webhooks to integrate with Zapier - What Are Webhooks? (it’s also a great intro to Webhooks in general with a useful glossary of terms at the end).
Webhooks are sent out from one app to another in the form of a regular URL with all the information the receiving app needs in them.
For example, a Webhook sent from Pepperi to Zapier could look like this:
https://zapier.com/data/12345?Customer=bob&value=10.00&itemCategory=paper
Once receiving this Webhook from Pepperi, Zapier will trigger the action you configured for this event in the relevant app.
Pepperi customers make widespread use of Webhooks to send out calls to a range of external programs or apps such as Zapier, as well as CRMs, and ERPs. Webhooks are simple to add to your existing Pepperi workflows. Just add the Webhook call right into the Pepperi order workflow.
