Contact Lists allow you to manage all of your Account contacts.
GDPR (or other data protection regulations) require you to have the ability to search for and permanently delete an individual's contact data from your Pepperi data upon their request.
After creating the lists following the instructions below, you will be able to permanently delete your contacts upon their request: Deleting Contacts.
Load Contacts associated with your Accounts. Contacts are associated with your customers (typically people who work at the stores you sell to).
They may be buyers using the Pepperi Storefront for self-service ordering, or simply contact people that you want your Pepperi users to have information about in the app.
If you are using Pepperi Storefront for B2B self-service ordering, then you must load at least one contact for each store you wish to access the Storefront and connect them as a buyer.
You may connect as many contacts as you need from each store as buyers directly from the Contacts List. An email will be sent to the contacts inviting them to order from your Storefront (learn how to configure the invitation email using HTML)
Example of a Contact List view in the Pepperi Web app:

Connect and Disconnect Contacts as Buyers from the Contact List
Create a Contact List
Create several contact lists, each filtered for your needs. For example:
- Contacts with a certain role (store manager, store employee)
- Contacts with emails containing "company.com"
To create Contact Lists go to Settings -> Contacts -> Contact Lists
Click Create New List
In the "General Info" section you can define a list based on filters.
For example, you can filter by any contact fields such as:
- Role or Profile (more on Buyer Profiles)
- Is Buyer (true/false field indicating if they are already connected as buyers who can log in to your eCommerce Storefront)
Configure list
In the "Configuration" define the fields to be added as columns in the list.
TIP: Add the "Is Buyer" field for an easy way to see if the buyer is already connected to your Pepperi eCommerce Storefront.
Configuration example:
Configure Search
Configure the search criteria for all contact lists. (Smart Search can be configured for each list separately in the list's Configuration tab).
Search - configure which fields you can search the list by when typing into the search box. You may search by any field, for example, search by:
- Name
- ID
- City
- Role/Profile
Smart Search
Configure the smart search menus which will appear in the left margin of the list.
Example of Smart search by City, Store name (the Account the contact belongs to) and Creation date of a contact:
Configure permission
Configure the lists that should be available for each profile. When viewing Contact Lists on a device or on the Web App the lists each profile has access to will be presented in the list selection menu for them to choose from.
Add Contact list to Home Screen
Add the Contact List to the Home Screen. Users logging in to the Web App on a browser will be able to see the lists.
To configure the Home Screen: App Home Screen Configuration
Make sure to add the field under "General" as shown here:
Contacts button on the home screen of WebApp:

The contact will receive the email invitation along with a Pepperi generated password (which they can change at any time using the standard change password procedure).
Disconnect Buyers
If you are disconnecting a contact,

3 --> Disconnect Buyer and confirm.
The buyer will no longer be able to log in to Pepperi. They will not be notified of being disconnected.
